It is 2 am and I am just done editing my images. I spent the whole week working on our corporate tax return and finally got to sit down to edit my images and write this post at 10pm, after finishing my work out.
I’m super excited about my photos this week. I had a ton of fun creating them. Finally my replacement remote showed up – OMG, it’s just so much easier to do this with a remote, I have really been suffering having to use a timer these past two weeks. Initially I planned on waiting for hubby to be home so that he could direct the fan for me, rather than me trying to move it around with my feet while shooting. But inspiration and ideas strike at the most unfortunate times. I had an idea and I was forced to execute it alone, which turned out to be easier than I thought.
If you missed last week, we were talking about how to shoot selfies with a fan.
Link up your fan shots below.
Today I have two sets of images: one with the typical “fan in my face/hair up in the air” shot, and another one that will start up our new theme for the week, Magic Tricks.
SELFIE #1

SELFIE #2: Wind Storm
This self-portrait was done using a remote, a tripod, a lot of props, cloning technics, jumps, levitation and some other photoshop tricks, all of which I will be doing a tutorial on,during this Saturday’s theme, Magic Tricks. So don’t forget to subscribe {sidebar} or come back to check it out.
OTHER SHOTS I LIKED:

I’m entering the last shot (nad any one of the above shots if you think they’re better) in the Portrait Contest. All taken by me as a self-portrait

These are beautiful, Elena! I think my favorite is the last black & white shot. Love the angle of your head and how the hair is flying around. But they’re all gorgeous – as usual.
Oh my… the red is absolutely WONDERFUL! I would never think of it as a backdrop and a wardrobe choice. But they just look so cool. And the magic tricks one is very cool… I’m interested in how to make these shots work for next week! Thanks for such a great linkup!
Your photos are always so cute and creative! I love how you look like you are blowing away!!!
These are BEAUTIFUL! And look at these amazing entries! Gorgeous! This week was fun
These are beautiful, really like the last one.
OK, I have to echo everyone else…they’re ALL amazing, but that last b&w is BEYOND stunning! Gorgeous! (And the colors are amazing in the color edits). Beautiful job as always!
I love the ones of you blowing away- so creative. The black & white conversion came out beautiful too!!!!!!
These are gorg! The red is stunning.
Sounds like I need to buy photoshop or something, seeing as I have zero editing software!!!
You def. Need to buy an editing program. I’d recommend lightroom for your everyday needs and then photoshop or elements for those extra things like clones and magic tricks
Very inspiring. You are gorgeous!
Gorgeous!!
Elena, you are SO pretty! I especially love your black and white shot and how dynamic it feels.
I’m looking forward to learning some of your “magic tricks!” I don’t know why, but I find your “blowing away” shots to be quite entertaining.
These turned out gorgeous girl – I was able to look yesterday but I wasn’t able to comment. I especially love the windstorm. How cool!
