Scavenger Hunt
8 Yay! I finally got enough time to participate in this week’s Scavenger Hunt.
Before we go into photos, I’d like to let you guys know that I am running a maternity and nursing shirt giveaway on my baby blog ( it can be worn pre- and post-partum too), so check it out and enter!
Here’s my Scavenger Hunt Photos:
1. LANDSCAPE
This shot was taken in Epcot – one of my most favorite places.
2. TRIADIC COLOR
A lot of my favorite shots turn out to be in complimentary colors- maybe that’s why they are favorite. I took this shot last week as Andrew was getting ready to go flying.
3.BLACK AND WHITE
This shot is black in white even in color
4.FOOD
I was literally saying “Foooooooooood!!!!” in that picture....
“And maybe it’s true…

…that I can’t live without you.”
I finally got around to going through some of the photos I took for one of the past Selfie Saturdays. Last time I posted a photo from that series, I actually took my pregnant belly away, because that wasn’t the point of the photo. But I’ve been excited to share with you the actual shots with my belly.
So here we go. These were all shot as a self-portraits, which was pretty difficult in this situation, with the hill and the backlighting and focus. So I can’t say I am happy about them or the sharpness. But you gotta make compromises when it comes to self-portraiture.

10 I love colorful photos. And there’s no place more colorful than my friend’s house.
As promised I am posting some of the pictures I took that day.
The only one downside to this amazing view is the “no-see-ems” (sand flees) in the evening.
The always gorgeous Michelle
Loved this real moment!
Soon enough we’ll be the ones chasing a crawling baby
My friend Elena making crepes at my request

OUT OF THIS WORLD
This was a selfie I took in Tortola, the most “out of this world” place I’ve been to. It’s so quiet and calm and slow, so untouched and tropical. This was such a nice little island that they didn’t need to introduce traffic lights until 2001. Josiah’s Bay was by far our favorite, with us being the only two people on the whole beach. Needless to say we took a million selfies there. This was one of them. I had this image in my head before we even arrived on the island. I knew about this particular beach from the research I had done and I wanted this exact shot. With so many things that usually go wrong with most plans, it was amazing to actually make it happen.

I thought... learning to jump…
2 I’m starting my edits as far back as 2007, though I will probably jump around depending on my mood. That was the year we hosted a Black and White Martini Party for Labor Day. It was also the same party that I met some of my fellow bloggers ( back when I had a blog on a Russian blogging service). I always love meeting with people I know well online- it’s so much fun.
The two girls arrived throughout the day, one with her hubby, another with her new baby and it was instantly pool time.
This was also the week I got my first DSLR, so I was just learning to use it.
Being the pro pool jumper ( lol jk), I tried to get the shyest one, Nat, to jump with me. After a few attempts to literally walk into the pool by her, she finally got the...
