SELFIE SATURDAYS WEEK 32!

Woke up this morning and quickly took this self-portrait. Before I was able to do that, I had hubby put handprints on my shirt with the paint we used for gender reveal. It took forever to dry and that is why I am posting so late. (just an FYI, I am painting while pregnant. I had hubby prep the can and brush before I took the shot)

I’m loving this picture for some reason. I rarely take faceless self-portraits, so this is different from my usual repertoire.

YAY! I did it! I managed to take a selfie today!

I am really loving having to take a self-portrait a week right now, because it is the only way I can get myself to take the photos for the pregnancy book. This shot will go in the beginning of the book when we were actually reading all the pre-pregnancy and pregnancy books.

This shot took an amazingly shot time to prepare for and shoot. I used manual focus, due to too many objects in the foreground. Otherwise, the focus would have been on the books and the vase. Didn’t really put make up on or anything, just hair in a ponytail and fake glasses ( I don’t wear glasses for reading).

Hubby was semi-cooperative as usual, with only a few complaining comments about this awful shirt that is made from POLYESTER ( The horror!!!) and how hot he was in it and that I should send it back to MYHABIT, where I got it from and that he’ll never wear it. Gosh, men can be so dramatic! I love the shirt- it looks so hot on him (hot as in sexy) and so what that he has to suffer in the name of beauty? We, girls, do it all the time! One can’t have a whole closet full of cotton shirts only… Am I right?

I had a total brain fart! As I was writing yesterday’s post about Changes, I completely forgot that it was Friday and I needed to post my SS submission. DUH!

This morning it dawned on me- luckily I had already taken my strawberry selfies and simply had to edit them.

I am very happy with this week’s results. Strawberries is somewhat a difficult topic to pull off in a selfie, but I am very happy with what came out of it. Mind you, the unedited photos were very IFFY, so I can’t believe I made them work.

This is a more classic strawberry shot I had in my mind but wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to pull off shooting it all by myself

Sorry for the delay guys!

I go through one day of feeling horrible and another day feeling good. And that’s the day when I try to do EVERYTHING I’ve been putting off. I’ll be back to normal posting once I hit 2nd trimester, hopefully, so hang in there with me.

So today I had to wait for hubby to get home to shoot the GIF, because I wanted to use about 100 images and that would require someone else pressing the shutter button.

And then I had to edit and put together 100 images – You get the point!

So I’m done and here’s what I have:
